Aleksandr Petiushko is an Adjunct Faculty at Sofia University (California) teaching the Machine Learning-related courses. He is also a Research Manager at Nuro, leading the Applied Machine Learning Research. He is also a lecturer at Lomonosov Moscow State University, giving courses on the Theory of Deep Learning. He received M.Sc. in 2006 and Ph.D. in 2016 in Theoretical Computer Science. His prior work also covered the organization and leading the collaboration activities between Academia and Industry. His research interest lies in the application of empirical and theoretical robustness techniques to different practical tasks, and related works have been accepted by different top conferences (ECCV, IJCAI, AAAI, CVPR, NeurIPS).
