Michael A. X. (Max) Izatt is the chief scientist for the Applied & Industrial Mathematics division of the Insights & Analytics Group of Hitachi Consulting Corporation. He was trained as a statistical physicist in the theoretical chemistry groups at MIT and Chicago, and worked as a financial mathematician in sell-side finance and risk management before joining Hitachi.
